Absent?: Need to turn in homework from Friday. We completed 2 speaking activities today. They were not taken for a grade but the practice was needed. Please try to be present on Thursday's class.
Your composition notebooks were not taken up.
Absent 20/8?: We looked at the first long essay p. 156 in your AP SPN book (white book). We completed the quote of the day and read the two articles on p.156 - then listened to the audio file that accompanies it. We began debating about the essay question. There was no homework or handouts.
Absent 21/8?: We practiced how to peer check your writing samples. We read and corrected the first draft of our essays from last week. We also began reading the material on p.44 of your white books. We will complete that on Monday for a grade.
