lunes: Holiday!
martes:Study lista de vocabulario
miercoles: No hay clase!
jueves: Complete the question #3 essay that we began working on in clase.
viernes: Complete the essay about post it notes. Keep it under 1 page!!!; Complete the leccion uno (2) worksheet; and read pages 41 - 52 in your textbook. THe story is called, "La Siesta del Martes."

Absent 8/9 (sept): We discussed censorship within our nation. We discussed reality vs fantasy by watching a clip from El Laberinto de la Fauna. We made a chart and venn diagram about this idea. We went over and turned in our essay homework from the weekend. On your day back, you'll need to ask about the notes from El Laberinto de la Fauna.

Absent 10/9 (sept): We are learning how to write in Spanish! We started question #3 on our essay question sheet. Complete it for homework.

Absent 11/9 (sept): We completed 1 listening activity and began another. It will be speaking but we ran out of time so they will complete it for homework and then on Monday, we will do another activity very similiar to what we attempted today. If you were absent today, upon your retunr to class, please ask me about - the post it note packet and the persuasive essay "map" worksheet. You will also need to ask me about part II of Leccion Uno. They will be completing that for homework. If you do not have your textbook (the yellowish green book) then you will need to come to school early on Monday and try reading some of the homework just so you aren't 100% lost in class.

• If you have any, bring some personal wipes for the headphone set! Our supply hasn't come in yet! Keep yourself germ free!

martes: Study your new vocabulary list p.51
miercoles: Study new vocabulary list
jueves: Study new vocabulary cards and list.
viernes:Read p.32- p. 33 from your textbook. Complete Preguntas Personales. Write the sentences. (3rd pd. does not have this homework).

Absent 8/9 (sept): We completed our test. We went over a little, the new vocabulary words on p.51 in your textbook. There were no handouts given today.

Absent 9/9 (sept): Only 1st and 3rd pds got the handout for the new vocabulary. If you're in one of theses classes, please ask me for a vocabulary list tomorrow. These class periods also completed their test today! Please see me on Mon, Wed, or Fri during the 5th pd study hall for makeup. Next tuesday, there will not be study hall during 8th pd due to early release day.

Absent 10/9 (sept): We got pages of vocabulary cards. We cut them out then practiced them. Tomorrow is a quiz (pop) on only 5 words. You should study the cognate words. Upon your return, ask me for a copy of the vocabulary cards.

Absent 11/9 (sept): We got more vocabulary word handouts and we took a pop quiz on 5 cognate words. No handouts, but there was homework! 3rd pd class did not have homework!

This week:

jueves: Study your new vocabulary cards and lista!
viernes: Complete the handout. You'll need your book. Follow the instructions!

Absent 9/9 (sept): We completed our test. Please see me for make up on Mon, Wed, or Fri during 5th pd study hall. Students also received a new vocabulary list. Please ask me for that list upon your return to class. Tomorrow we will begin in the new chapter.
