Absent 14/9 (sept): We read p. 34 - 35 and completed the Comprendiste questions. I did not take this up. Afterwards, we described famous people by using the vocabulary words from the lesson. I did not pass out anyworksheets. I took up the homework page given on Friday. Please turn that in upon your arrival back to class.
Absent 16/9 (sept): We reviewed ser vs estar by creating a shopping bag. Each letter in the word SHOPPED stands for a reason to use SER. We also examined Estar with the word: EGLE (eagle). We completed two activities on ser vs estar , recieved a handout of notes, and attempted to listen to a song (it didn't work) - ask me about the ser and estar handouts upon your return.
Absent 17/9 (sept): We talked about SHOPPED and completed an exercise trying to examine the differences between ser and estar. Students completed it but I did not take up the activity. We completed the front side of the previous day's Ser vs Estar worksheet.
Absent 18/9 (sept): We watched an odd video and completed a narration about it in the preterite tense. We turned in our homework. When you're back, you should ask someone what was the video clip about or make arrangements to come see it. I took up the narration.
